A few years ago, as I was reading a book at Starbucks while waiting for my daughter, I noticed that nearly everyone ordered a huge pink drink and it got me curious. What exactly is this pink drink?!
I figured it was a Starbucks menu hack people saw on TikTok. Funny thing is, it really was invented on social media. In 2016, this pink drink went viral on Instagram. It was invented by a Starbucks fan who ordered the Strawberry Acai Refresher and requested for coconut milk instead of water. This drink is literally called the Pink Drink!
What’s in the Pink Drink at Starbucks?
The “Pink Drink” is a pretty and girly iced drink that combines coconut milk with the Starbucks Strawberry Acai Refresher base and freeze dried strawberries. I’ve only ever ordered the Pink Drink once, back in 2019. It tastes like rainbows and unicorns, just kidding! It’s sweet like candy and refreshing at the same time. But I’m a coffee person not an iced fruity drink kinda person so I never did order it again after that.
How much is the Starbucks Pink Drink?
Back in 2019 the Pink Drink cost around $4 and some change. Yesterday while I was at Starbucks, I checked price of the Pink Drink and it’s $5.95 for a Tall, $6.25 for a Grande, $7.15 for a Venti and $7.45 for a Trenta. Prices may be higher or lower than these, depending on the Starbucks location you go to.
Is there a bottled version of the Pink Drink?
Yes, it was released just last year actually. I’ve been told it tastes like gourmet strawberry milk, exactly like the one they make in-store. You can buy it at Walmart, Target, Amazon, Kroger and other retailer shops for around $3 to $4 a bottle.

What I like about Starbucks: they are all different, as far as their interior design and decor. What I also like about Starbucks: they are all pretty much alike, as they all excel in high quality of food and drinks and in their top-rated customer service.
On a very warm, September afternoon, I was suggested by server Kenny to order their Strawberry Acai Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers Beverage, aka Pink Drink. For $4,49 I got 16 oz., 90 cal of cold heaven; it’s a very balanced, flavorful drink, that was just delicious.
Although it is a Drive-Through place, I was most amiably served indoors, and had a chance to see again, how well the staff works as a team, and how customers enjoy their food and have a great time, being there. All current sanitation rules are now observed in this Starbucks. Pink Drink, by the way, looked more like Orangey Pink Drink. Hello Pumpkin, that’s for sure!

Dragon drink and pink drink are amazingggg! Very tasty and refreshing! Ask for light on the ice so that you get more drink and less ice! Dragon drink comes with dried dragon fruit bits and pink drink comes with dried strawberry halves! These drinks definitely brighten up your day and leave your tastebuds happy!

The pink drink is the best. My sister gets it everytime. Love the coconut milk in it. The sugar free vanilla iced latte is my favorite. Always get it. They just need a few more sugar free choices due to being diabetic.
